To get on 101 from Joshua I would drive through the park to 247 at Yucca Valley to 247 to Barstow then west to Bakersfield and 99 north. Then 152 at Chowchilla to I-5 north or stay on 99 north to Sacramento and pick up I-5 there to Williams. At Williams take Hwy 20 west to 101 north.

I am here now and settled into JT dispersed South, and it suits me just fine. After looking around in the parks, the advice offered here was spot on. No way I would try to get Large Marge in those campgrounds - Jumbo Rocks, while yes I could technically fit in some spots just is not the vibe for us. I did however spot one pull through in Belle that has led to lively discussion with the Admiral about "maybe" but then I could not make this valuable post as I am sure everyone was wondering ha. Wonderful time to be here, great weather. This is one of the best dispersed spots I have ever stayed in, Indio is 30 minutes down the road for propane etc. The park has a dump and fresh water for free at Cottonwood with my access pass so yeah, this is the life my friends.
