I'm giving away my age, but the first time I was at the June Lake loop was in 1954. I come from two generations of campers, and now I'm the third. Grant Lake is where I caught my first fish, a beautiful brownie. Even have the picture for posterity. I haven't been there in many years, but have great memories.

If you have time, Convict Lake is our favorite of the bunch.

Twin Lakes is at Mammoth Lakes, CA. June Lake is just down the road. Convict Lake is also near Mammoth. All are just south of Yosemite.

Twin Lakes may be Bridgeport, CA...

I was just up at Twin Lakes in Bridgeport, and we had a great time. No cell reception was a positive thing for us.

There are two Twin Lakes, we are at the Mammoth Twin Lakes just 3 miles upside of Mammoth.

OMG! What an awesome picture!!!! The fish is neat, too.

Hwy 395 is a favorite route of ours if we have to travel south/north in California. Sure beats the interstate.

Carry on with your fun!
