from Pine Hill RV Park in Kutztown, PA. Nice park.

Wanted to make sure everything worked before our trip next month. What an adventure.

Friday evening was relaxing. Sat outside and chatted with a few people and then watched some TV. When going to bed my wife mentioned that the lights seemed to be a little dim. Around 4:00 am I woke up very cold. Even my yellow lab was cold. Lights were much dimmer. Battery level was on the last light.

Early Saturday morning the trouble shooting started. All of my A.C. components and outlets were working. The only exception was the outlet that the power converter was plugged in to. It was not working. Went to the power post and test there. The 20A and 30A outlets were dead. So it was safe to assume I was missing that part of the 110V and probably one leg of the 50A connector. I ran an extension cord to an outside outlet and plugged in the power converter. It still wasn't working. I did some more trouble shooting and ended up plugging my 50A cord into the empty campsite next to me. All outlets were now fine. But the converter still did not work. I resigned myself to the fact that I was going to have to get a new one. I proved it to myself when the CG maintenance guy came by to check my power problem and I used his meter to check the converter output. Zero volts out. I crawled into the cabinet to get the model number and saw two fuses hidden behind the power cord. Hmmmmm, let me check. Well they both were blown. Replaced the fuses, and great; everything is working. Rest of the weekend was very relaxing.

At least I know everything is working for next month.

So glad to hear it was just the fuses, and that the rest of our weekend was fine! Makes for a much nicer trip home... LOL
