Kennedy Space Center Parking

Are there parking spaces at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center that are large enough for 45 Class A?

If so, is there any issue with running the generator?

I looked at the website, here is what is mentioned about parking:

Quote:
PARKING
The visitor complex parking lot accommodates motorcycles, automobiles and oversized vehicles such as RVs. Parking fees are collected at the entrance to the lot. Parking for visitors with disabilities is available in Lot 2 with valid parking permit. Drivers are also welcome to drop off and pick up visitors in Lot 2. Annual passholders receive complimentary parking with valid pass. Multiday ticket holders also receive one complimentary parking voucher. Parking is accessible 30 minutes before complex opening.

Parking Rates

Motorcycles - $5.00
Automobiles - $10.00
Oversized vehicles, motor homes or RVs - $15.00
No meniton of generator. Here is a phone number: 1.855.433.4210

We visited in 2018 and only had one day, with a late start we did not get to see everything so plan to get there early and do take the tour of the launch area.

If gen use is for a pet when we toured many moons ago they had air conditioned facilities for pets.
I dont recall any regulations prohibiting gens but worth a call to check. It was set up very well and really impressed us.

Looking at google maps satellite view there appears to be RV parking, but at least one larger motorhome has its TOAD sticking out into the lane behind the parking space by nearly the full length of the TOAD, so you may need to unhook.

We spent almost 3 days at the center (and I could have even spent more time....) and also taking in the Astronaut Museum which was / is a separate building that you pass on the way out to the space center (I thought I’d read it was moving, but not sure about that).

If you can add more time, it would be well worth it.

It has been a couple of years since I was there. Big parking lot. If you parked in the rear I am sure there should be no trouble running a generator.

There's plenty of room for large vehicles. You'll be parking where your buses park and generator use won't be a problem. If you're going soon, check their website as many of the most interesting parts are not open because they have not restarted their bus transportation yet.

We were there last summer for a space x launch. We parked in bus parking along with other 45 bus / RVs. We ran the generator all day and there were several commercial buses idling their main engines. No problem parking or running generators.

Great info, thanks to all. I signed up for annual pass that starts August 1st so plan to make several trips there. It is about a 2 hour drive from Polk City.
