We are just north of Nashville and have a 39' DP. We are looking for a few nice or one real nice spots to stay. We don't do much just like to relax around a nice fire go for walks. We like paved roads and not next to a express way. We need to be back to MI on the 21st. Any suggestions or favorite spots? We don't want to head to much further south but would if the place was great. The place we thought would work isn't. Not a bad spot just not for this long.

Mammoth Cave National Park, Cumberland Lake, Dale Hollow Lake, Barren River Reservoir, Kentucky Lake, etc. Lots of nice places in southern and western KY.
We always enjoy our stay at Kentucky Horse Park Campground. If you watch the events calendar on the Kentucky Horse Park website, you can enjoy extras beyond the still nice horse park daily activities. There are several wineries in the area, tours of Woodford Reserve refinery, Keeneland racing in Lexington, and scenic drives through thoroughbred country. The campground also has events listed on their horse park to enjoy or avoid. I like to camp during the AKC dog show but others might not like that time. The campground has a pool, very clean showers, and nice playground. Just adjacent to the entrance is a bike trail which goes all the way to downtown Lexington and is scenic and away from traffic on the park end. Our adult children and grandchildren live in Lexington so the campground is our goto place for weekend stays and special events like Halloween trick or treating.
