Kissimmee FL Things for a Rally Group[

Will be hosting our RV group's Nov 2014 rally at Kissimmee. Excluding the Parks (Disney, Sea World, etc), what activities have Kissimmee rally participants (or others who have visited the area) enjoyed for say $50 per person or less. Would appreciate your experiences. Thanks!

Check out the classic car show at Old Town. I think it runs every Friday and Saturday and I think it is free. Just pay to park.

My Family LOVES Gatorland. Last time we were there it was around $20.00 per adult.

Lots of museums to see. Military, aircraft, Fantasy of Flight West of Kissimmee. Gatorland already mentioned but we have not been there yet. Air boat rides. Dinosaur World about 30 miles West. Haven't been there yet either but have driven by and it looks like fun. Miniature Golf places. Flea markets.

There's a visitor center, I want to say on International Drive. I'd stop in and ask them. There will be more within that category than you'd be able to do in a year.

The Old Town car show, I think, is only on Saturday nights. I may be wrong, but I know they do show up on Saturday.

I'd also add that a visit to downtown Celebration is worth the time. There's a few very nice places to eat including the Boston Tavern, the Market Street Café and the Columbia (one of our favorites). There are at least a couple more, but we've not tried them yet. There's a nice, and fully accessible, walk around the lake right downtown too.

Parksdale Farms

I am sorry to say but Parksdale Farms Strawberry Shortcake season does not start until sometime in December. November is a little early. Officially it does not start until January. They have the BEST strawberry shortcake !
