KOA reservations online

I’ve been attempting to make a reservation over the past two days (on both the website and app), but each time the system tells me there is an issue with processing my cc. I’ve tried two different cards, but same thing.

Has anyone had any luck? There may be a cloud hanging over me.

Make sure you're using the cards address exactly as the bank has it. I've found that rejected cards are most often due to a difference in what you type in as the address and what the bank is looking for for verification.

Assuming you are, you could just email the KOA location with your plans or request for a res and explain the issue. And of course you can try calling them.

I rarely make reservations, I just verify there are 2 or more RV parks in the area I'm heading to and arrive early in the day. Like 3pm to 5pm. Holidays in popular areas often require a res though.

Sometime it's an issue with the browser your using and the payment processor the website is using. I just ran into this again this morning with the Minnesota State Park reservation system. It seems their payment processor doesn't want to work with Firefox. I finally made the reservation by phone. Went online again to test if my cellphone could make a reservation and it could. A while back I ran into this issue with two other campgrounds that have different reservation systems.

Has that credit card worked in the past for online transactions?

Your experience echos mine exactly. I was attempting to make the reservation on my iPad using both the KOA app and website on Chrome, and getting rejected. Tried their app on my phone and no problem.

I guess I hold my mouth differently when using my iPhone.

I find issues all the time with them and my Amex. I just call the campground and don't have any issues at all.
