What are some recommended casino campgrounds in Louisiana and Mississippi?

Why do you like them?

What are some area attractions besides the recommended casino?

We’ve stayed at Ameristar in Vicksburg, MS. Not the greatest park, but some neat civil war stuff around.

Paragon Casino in Marksville La has a real nice RV park
Coushatta La Casino Red shoes rv resort is nice as well

We have stayed at Ameristar in Vicksburg a few times. Be sure to get there early enough to get the bathroom codes. Good views of the Mississippi River. Casino has good breakfast restaurant. They also run a shuttle from the RV park to the Casino. It's not very far to walk either.

We've stayed there several times and we really like it. We don't go to the casino; we just hang out at the RV.

The campground staff are extremely nice, and the price is good. One of these days, I'm going to spend more time in Vicksburg to visit the civil war stuff as bookemdanno says.
