I will be heading to Lake George RV park for a long weekend. has anyone been to this park and is it worth the $98 per night

We camped at Lake George RV Park last year while attending the Americade motorcycle rally. We found the park to be clean and the facilities top notch. If you have kids they have plenty of activities to keep them having fun. The dog park is one of the best I have ever seen. Enjoy your stay and the whole area in general.

Nice park, big, nice stuff, just don't be fooled into thinking it is in or near Lake George. Try state parks too.

We stayed there last year for a long weekend and loved it. This is a very nice and well maintained RV park. No doubt these folks know what they are doing, the place is spotless and again, well maintained. They can handle large and small rigs and they have a large population of sites so you can typically get in, just make sure you have a reservation though. This place does sell out and for good reason. If you have kids, they have a ton of things to do, great activities.

If you do not have kids there is plenty to do as well including the Lake George area. We purchased a round trip ticket for the trolley which picks you up at the campground and takes you down to the Lake George area. Heck it rained one day and we still had fun. Nice restaurants down near the lake and plenty of variety.

We are planning to return again this year. Hands down one of the best RV parks we have ever stayed.
