Haven't stayed there but we did stay at the Lake Catherine state park that is nearby. I can't say enough good things about the Lake Catherine park. They have many, many plaques in the office for being the Arkansas state park of the year.

We have stayed there several times. It is clean, the operators are friendly, and it is conveniently close to town.

We, Lee and I (Virg) we hadn't stayed in state campgrounds because I was fearful of the size of parking. We have a 37'. Do you think we would have any trouble getting in or out?

This is a private park. You will have no trouble getting into sites. We stay there often, our motor home is 36'. Their website is www.lakehamiltonrvresort.com.

Have stayed at lake Hamilton RV Resort and J&J and both are nice parks. If you want something a little more country try Cloud Nine RV park. About 5 miles NE of downtown and VERY quiet. It sits on top of a hill and the views are fantastic. A little bit of a hill leading up to the CG but it is paved and not a problem.
