Lake Havasu Recomendations

Any recommendations for the best rv park in Lake Havasu? I have been looking but none look great. Just looking for a couple nights in April.

Thanks

The state parks are much better than the RV parks.

If your rv is less then ten years old and your willing to pay 100 dollars a night the Islander Resort is worth going to at least once. They normally have a water front site available and these would be the only sites I would consider for the price.

Like others have said the AZ state parks are wonderful and would be my first choice as well. There is one in Lake Havasu and others south of the city. Buckskin is our favorite but a ways from Lake Havasu.

I live in LH and can say that for 2-3 nights the best "Parks" are Windsor State Beach Campground, The Islander, Crazy Horse Campground/RV Park, and Campbell Cove RV Park.

The State park as mentioned is best but may be booked.

The Islander is at Best "Snooty" and actually not at all welcoming to transients.

Crazy Horse is a bit dated and has a mix of old and new, but the location is very nice on "The Island" just past our famous London Bridge.

Campbell Cove is well located and not a bad place to spend a couple of nights if there any vacancies available.

Other locations that would be fine for a couple of nights would be Havasu Falls RV Resort.

Havasu also has many spots that are very nice for boondocking just north and south of town.......if you would like more detailed info shoot me a PM.

This is a great little city and you are coming at the absolute best time of the year.....cheers!

I also recommend the State Park or Cattail Cove, alternatively you can boondock north of town.

when last at LHC (3-yrs) we found that some of the state parks south of LHU did not offer 50-amp electric. just FYI. LHSP in LHC does offer 50-amp electric.
