Lake Pleasant AZ reviews

We recently flew to Phoenix & accidentally found a Maricopa County Regional park called Lake Pleasant RV Park and Marina.
It is gorgeous & most importantly very affordable.
Itís $32/night for full hookups, $22/night for partial & $15/night for boondocking.
Can anyone tell their experience there, good or bad?

We camp there every couple of months. It's 30 minutes from home. lol!
We love to kayak, mountain bike, and hike, the lake and surrounding trails.

Lake Pleasant Regional Park is really nice, especially if you have a boat. We volunteer at another Maricooa County Park (White Tank Mountain) and have an outstanding camp ground (same prices). Large level spots and lots of room between most spots. But go online and reserve, we fill up fast, especially around Spring Training and NASCAR time.

Well this is a timely thread. I just reserved a site at Lake Pleasant today. We will be there for 10 nights next month. Then with any luck, move to White Tank.

Watch for the wild burros at Lake Pleasant. We have deer and Javalina at White Tank but they make themselves scarce, not like the burros. Report back how you like our parks!

There's a Pleasant Harbor RV Park & Marina and there's also the Maricopa County Lake Pleasant park..... two different places.

I have an overnight trip planned at the Desert Tortoise campground at LP for Feb. 2nd and a two night stay at Roadrunner campground March 1st-3rd. Its a great area and very close to home for me.
