We've made good time on our trip out West and may go to Las Vegas area since we are so near here in Flagstaff. We would be more interested in seeing the Hoover dam than gambling so looking for any CG/RV park recommendations.

Hi smlranger: Last time I was there, 3 years ago, there was a CG just outside of Las Vegas 10 minutes I think. It was called RoadRunner RV park beside Sams Town casino on the Bolder Hwy. in Henderson. It was $11.00/night including cable TV. and full hook-ups. There are many available including the KOA at Circus Circus. Before KOA took over it was $15/night but now it is very expensive but it is right on the strip.
Since you are not looking to see Las Vegas, you might think about Laughlin. RV parks are cheaper plus you can visit Oatman on old Rt 66 and Lake Havasu City.
There may still be a restriction on taking RV's across Hoover Dam, better check.
