Planning a extended trip from Gulf Shores AL to Las Vegas NV. Any recommendations on campgrounds in Vegas or along the way. Will be pulling a 5th. wheel

Oasis RV park, the only one we use, besides daughters house.

Oasis is a very nice park , just be warned lot of air traffic noise.

When we stayed there the noise didn't bother us that much.

The Oasis is a very nice park on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. They run shuttle buses to the strip. They are also a Passport America member so you can get sites at a discount.

we like Oasis as well. I didn't notice air traffic so much. Nice pool/ recommend the bus to the strip. We will be there again for New Years Eve

We have used the Hitching Post at the north end of Las Vegas Clean facilities, wide level spots restaurant right on property. It's behind electric gates. Seemed good enough for us to go back a second time.

The air traffic noise shouldn't be too bad as when the wind is out of the north, they are on approach over Oasis. During the warm months air traffic is mainly east to west. I've worked in the area for many years and know the patterns.

A couple of places on the way out -- Balmorhea State Park in Texas, Kartchner Caverns State Park in Arizona. Both have very large sites and FHU 50 amp.
