i'd skip Fremont Street. Seedy, parking expensive, seedy. As we were leaving during the afternoon a teenager was arrested for urinating on the crowd as he traveled on the zip line. I'm glad we we went in the afternoon as we wouldn't have felt safe at night.

I am also not a gambler. I have found that every hotel will have free tickets to a show. Just ask. I have seen shows, concerts, events, and rodeos while in town.
But you have to be careful. I was in town with a crew of well drillers and the hotel offered us tickets to the Finals Rodeo. Of course, we snapped those up! Finals tickets are hard to get. But when we got there it was the Gay Rodeo Finals! Probably not the crowd we expected!

One other thing you can do in LV that I have not found anywhere else is shoot a machine gun. Off the end of the strip there are rental gun ranges that have just about anything. One afternoon I rented a 1870's Gattling gun, and a 1920's Tommy gun. It was near Halloween and the range put out pumpkins for us to shoot.
Probably my favorite day off in LV. DR

I thought the electronic light show on the roof of Fremont street was one of the most impressive things I saw at Vegas two years ago. Of course you need to go at night to see it.Click image for larger version

I think Freemont Street is the only thing worth doing in Vegas other than a favorite show you have always wanted to see. The Strip always looks attractive because of the cheap room rates but they stick it to you every possible way. Pools are always packed, (with kids) or exclusive and then expensive. Many hotels are seedy and aged. No amenities in room like even a coffee machine.m

Last year while in Vegas, we did a Razor tour/ride in the desert. It was great, wife drove first half, and I drove the way back.
Fremont Street was great, wife said one & done to it, but I enjoyed it.

We also went to the Count's Custom Car shop. They have a museum of his vehicles in there. This is the show on TV.
We went to the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, just to see what it is all about on TV.

For those who don't like driving in the traffic they do have public transportation by bus and the monorail. You will need to walk a bit but a lot of LV is accessible this way. At least you can sightsee without the hassle of finding parking and driving a congested strip.

The have day and multi-day passes.

Do they still have the place where you can rent time in a bulldozer and move some dirt around?

It wasn’t ready when we were there two years ago, but it would be on my list when we return to Vegas.

I want to ride the Elon Musk tunnel in a Tesla.
