Live Oak Landing RV Resort Freeport Fl./Carrabelle Beach RV Resort Carrabelle Fl.

Hey Guys! We are booked into Live Oak Landing for February and March ... just wondering if anyone has stayed here before? We're curious about the distance to shopping, restaurants, etc., compared to Carrabelle. Seems like both are off the beaten path. Anyone have an opinion one way or the other? They are both part of the same RV Resort group.

We've stayed at CB several times...
Haven't been to Live Oak but my brother visited there w interest in possible purchase of one of the park models. His comment was after seeing where it was he wasn't interested... on a river vs on bay or gulf...long way to restaurants & attractions at Destin.

CB is a small town but has the basics...groceries, hardware, restaurants and its not too far to Apalachicola for more.

We stayed at Live Oak about a month ago, niece campground good facilities, I enjoyed sitting in the swing overlooking river. It is a few miles to the closest Restaurant, but not that far from shopping. It is a long campground with one way streets and you may be required to make a loop through the campground to get back to your site. The restaurant just across the bridge, going to the beach, on the left was very good and about three miles away.
