Long Term RV parks on and near Galveston TX

May be taking a work contract in East Galveston.

Seems there are quite a few parks in the area, would not want to go out much further than Texas City to stay close to the island.

Any recommendations on RV parks in and around that area for long term stays?
Don't necessarily need touristy amenities, just clean, quiet, and basic facilities at a fair price.

Being on the mainland doesn't bother me. It might be fun to go to the beach for a month or so, but worried the salt spray might hurt the coach in the long run.

I have been here. No frills but beautiful location on the water. It’s basically a parking lot with hookups. You’re exposed 24/7 with no trees.

There’s a Walgreens nearby along with some restaurants. The island is small and easy to get around. You can drive golf carts everywhere.

There is also one near Texas City (I forget the name of the park), which has metal awnings over the sites which can really help with the summer heat.

Didn't see one with awnings but would definitely be interested especially in the peak of summer

Here are some in the area. You would be wise not to park near the water for a long time because of the salt air. Also, the farther you are away from the beach the less you'll pay.

No frills, just a parking lot? We talking about the same place...I don't think so
Two pools
Amazing fishing
Fishing pier
Dog park, lots of green spaces

No close stuff means less people in my opinion

But you do you boo

Ah dang, too far north, that is why I didn't see it, would make the commute into Galveston pretty long each day. But thank you for finding it for me.
