want a warm water location for a four night trip next week (short notice). Just want to laze around on beach and enjoy last of the season's warm water, not visit a lot of 'historic' locations or see local stuff. Tybee Island campground is about a 20 minute walk to beach per my neighbors recent visit. Otherwise it sounds good. Jeykll Island campground sounds better located, but a little longer drive.
Are ther any Ga beachfront campgrounds that are not listed in the 2007 Trailer Life Directory? Any help appreciated in locating such.
SC is a second choice, but the waters will be colder, and I can not tolerate cold water. I know of the northern SC beach campgrounds, but not aware of any closer to the Ga line.
Thanks for any tips.
