Looking for compadres for a trip to Baja

If this should be posted to another forum, let me know.

Anyone interested in a self guided trip to Baja? We'd like to go with a small group on our first rv trip to Mexico, preferably with one or more who've made the trip before but even if we're all newbies that'll be fine too.
Pretty much any time from January to April 2022 would work for us. Let me know if you might be interested and we can discuss plans.

Sorry, I have been down through Baja but now I go to Mazatlan every year. I leave Minnesota about October 15 and return April 15. If your ever interested in doing the west coast of the mainland let me know.

Also if you need information about what you need etc I can help.

Interested

I am very much interested to take a trip down Baja it's been some years since I've been down that way but in the past I've been there many times I would also like to Caravan with other like minded RVers. I was thinking to end up on the East Cape and take a week or two going down and coming back it's a beautiful trip

Would love to know how long you take to get down there as well as if you will be going this year or if the border closure will slow you down? I know our southern neighbors consider tourism "essential" but curious if any other consequences?

I would sure enjoy a few pearls of wisdom regarding your Mexico travels. We are not ready to try it for a couple more years but the planning is 1/2 the fun.
If you are in the cities, the first slice of pie is on me!
Thanks,
Rich

Thanks will do. We've made trips to P. Vallarta/Sayulita/San Pancho (Francisco), just not in an rv. Mazatlan was also on the agenda before we bought the motor home. Beautiful places. We wouldn't be able to go as early as next month, but maybe others would. Safe travels. I may be in touch if we have questions. Thanks for replying and the offer of help.

I'm new to irv2, still figuring out the site and menu's etc. Opinions as to the best way to contact and discuss actual plans with those who want to go? Is it best to just continue posting to this thread and follow along here? It doesn't seem like PM's or emails would be any better. Maybe a little more private, but I'm not sure that the things we'd be discussing in order to plan the trip would be sensitive or a problem in a public forum.

I think it would be awesome to keep a thread going on discussions of a Baja trip and the planning. It'd also give others with experience a chance to highlight anything suggested to each other that might be a concern and so on. The latter of which you wouldn't get in private group/messages.

Just a thought, and I for one will be following as we intended to go down to the Baja this year as per pre COVID planning but alas with all the restrictions and testing and so on as well not even being able to cross over the land border from Canada without jumping through crazy hoops it's on hold. Hopefully one day.

Happy Travels. SD.
