Looking for some suggestions.

We are in the process of planning a trip to Salt Lake and looking for a good place to stay have looked at the Salt Lake KOA but seems expensive sine we will be staying 5 days. Also looking at the Pony Express resort a little cheaper but seems a bit crowded
Any thoughts or suggestions?

What are you looking to do in beautiful SLC? Lagoon Amusement Park has a nice RV Park outside its park and you can go ride rides and hang at the water park for a day or three. SLKOA is near downtown and the beautiful LDS Temple Grounds. Lots of nice places out of town. Park City is nice in the summer, Wasatch Mountain State Park, Jordanelle State Park, Pineview Reservoir, the Uintahs and the Mirror Lake byway.

KOA over Pony Express every time. Koa is quiet and shaded. Pony has highway traffic noise, refineries nearby and zero shade.

KOA is very handy to the downtown attractions. I recommend it.

KOA was nice for us. Took a tour of the city that picked us up at the KOA.
