Iíve always blown through that town, however there is a welcome center on the West side if you donít need hook ups and also a KOA in town.

Back in Jan 2016, KOA was good for an overnight- nice sized pull thru spots and pretty level. Everything was gravel. We planned on one night and spent 2. I’d use it again.

There is also 1 or 2 Harvest Hosts locations in the area.

Plan on an overnight in Deming, NM and then again, in Benson, AZ. Good drive spacing and lots more choices on where to stay and good siteseeing from those two towns. I wouldn't pay to stay in Lordsburg!

Lordsburg has a Pilot and Flying J gas station on the east side. We stop there for gas. Deming is about 45 minutes east of Lordsburg and our usual overnight stop.

LoW-HI RV Ranch is about 4 miles south of Deming. Very quite, good staff, and they take Passport America.

When we head to Phoenix, rather than take the interstate, When we get to Lordsburg, we turn onto US70 north. Its a pleasant drive up to US60, then into Phoenix.

We got held up by a dust storm a year ago, and we needed a night in Lordsburg. We left the free overnight spots at the Flying J and Pilot to the hundreds of truckers who were also hung up and spent the night at the KOA. Very nice staff, and the campground was completely adequate.
