Lot purchase in the Crystal River/ Homosassa Florida area

Looking at buying a lot in the Crystal River/ Homosassa area to hang our hats in the cold months. We have an Airstream so a motor coach park won't work. Would like something clean, nice activities and preferably 55 and over. Any ideas good or bad would be greatly appreciated.

Seasonal use or year-round use?

We really like Rock Crusher Canyon, a Sun RV resort in Crystal River. Many people we met there stay 3-4-5 months and some people leave their RV there. It's far more like a state park than a concrete cluster. Large sites, tons of trees, etc. Enclosed pool, gated, etc. Third-party owned pavilion and entertainment center literally right next door: https://rockcrusherevents.com/home

HTH,

Thanks for the input. We'd probably would use it 3-4 months in the winter months but maybe longer depending on destinations. I really couldn't find any pricing for lots. Does Rock Crusher have so called condo rules as far as ownership?

Sorry, no idea on their rules of ownership.

I was looking at this place and was impressed. By chance would you any personal experiences staying or owning here?
Thanks

I really don't have any experience with this place. There's a bicycle trail just north of it that I have been on several times, so I've driven past the park. If it were me, I'd rent a lot there just to see what the park was like before buying a lot.
