A little further down the road in Key West there is a great Cuban restaurant, El Siboney on Catherine Street. There is a El Siboney restaurant in Marathon, same family, but we prefer the Key West restaurant. Another great place in Key West is the Blue Heaven famous for their omelets, also where a shower cost $1,and $2 to watch!!

When I worked on the space shuttle program back in the '90's, Rockwell Int. was 1/2 owner of 6 KOA campgrounds in Fla. (so I was told by the human resources mgr).
I just showed my badge and got 1/2 off. So...$50 a nite for a 'kitchenette' on Fiesta Key. Its just past Marathon Key.
They had a bar, game room, pool, small harbor, docks for my boat, etc. etc.
Centrally located so we would go to Key West, and Key Largo. Great snorkling areas. We would water ski on the north side of the keys (towards the everglades).....naked . No other boats for miles around.
