Yes... two-week limit. The OP stated he's staying a 'few' weeks. We volunteered at Lost Dutchman and it's an awesome place to stay.

Just go to this site and zoom in on the Mesa area. Dozens of parks shown by location.

My GPS says 49 miles from my home in East Mesa to Goodyear. However, we generally judge distance by time rather than miles here in the Valley. Unless one is traveling late at night that drive will be over an hour each way. In heavy traffic. There are plenty of parks in East Mesa and from what I have seen none of them are totally full.

If you'll go back and read my original post I was fairly specific with what we were looking for.
By just going to CGR (which I have done) I would have to sort through over 100 parks never actually knowing if one was really good or not.
What we are looking for is recommendations on RV Resorts in the Mesa area.

Lost Dutchman and Usery looks like they are a no go. They look great. I'll probably give them a call and double check.
Both lack full hookups and neither are available for the dates we requested. One of us loves the Oasis continuous hot water.

Thought the OP might wish to move around a bit. Options, I like Options.

Ditto. The exact place you're looking for. We stayed at VDO (Valle Del Oro) for 3 1/2 months last winter, but I don't think it's what you described. This place is well out of the hustle of Mesa. Peaceful and much quieter.

We stayed for one week at Counry Side Rv Resort in Apache Junction last year. Pretty decent place, but the site might be a bit tight. We didn't mind it too much as we only needed a place to sleep as we were visiting the area a lot.
While in the Phoenix area, do take a trip up to Sedona. The view is just spectacular all around. On the way there, you can stop over at Arcostanti, an experimental "village" in the desert.
Happy traveling,
Maurice
