Hmmmmm..
We have stayed @ the Silver Slipper..(just barely west of Waveland, MS)
It is a "Plane Jane"- no frills but does have full hookups and several "viewing towers"
Just across the paved lane to the Casino is the beach...

I believe there is only one RV Park near the water in Ocean Springs. It does not have full hookups and isn't close to the beach. It's located at Gulf Island National Seashore. There is one or two in Biloxi, but I don't know anything about either one.

I live about 45 minutes away and never consider MS an option when the beach is involved. No comparison to the beaches in Gulf Shores and Pensacola area.

Be aware that Cruising the Coast starts on Sept 30. Lots of cool cars to see but a whole lot of additional traffic.

Beach in MS Gulf Coast

There is in fact beautiful beach in MS. The problem is that Highway 90 is just off the beach, and unlike some places in CA, there is not enough room, or private land with direct access to the beach.

Cheers
Mike

We love Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores. You can walk the trails right to the beach in less than 10 minutes. Or it's a few minutes drive to the public parking. The park will give you a pass for parking.

Mississippi coast.

We have stayed at Majestic Oaks RV in Biloxi; several blocks off the beach.

Tight but nice, all concrete.

Cajun RV is closer to the beach, but also to train tracks.

Gulf Haven is in Gulfport, just across Hwy 90 from the beach.

It is a plain Jane, but nice people there.

One of these should work for you!

We like Pensacola Beach RV Resort. On the pricey side, but walking distance to restaurants and the beach. They have their own little beach on the bay side and the gulf is across the street.

Pandion Ridge in Orange Beach is nice and we hung out at Cotton Bayou which is less congested than Gulf Shore.
