Monterey, CA Trip Report
Before Thanksgiving we took a little trip to the Monterey Bay coast for some kayaking and biking. We hope you enjoy reading our trip report about it!

Thank you for the report, I'm so ready for our next CA trip but don't know when we can go. The more things I write down, the longer the trip. I think DH and I will be on the road for about 6 months for the big one.

CA is a big state with so much to do and see! Of course, planning the trip is half the fun!

Until 2019 we always flew in to the state and traveled by car. I'm looking forward to spending time there in our rv and exploring off the main drag. Fingers crossed we will start in Pasadena next December and work our way around non frozen parts of the state until we end up in Indian Wells in March.

That will be an awesome River trip! We love the coast, especially, in the winter, and camp from Monterey all the way to San Diego. At times it will be cold and rainy, but more often than not, there will be sunshine and shorts weather. Wishing you the very best time!

Great trip report. As a native Californian I always appreciated those beautiful places and Moss Landing is certainly amazing.

Your reports are always enlightening (and so well done). Thanks you for sharing them. We live on the Central Coast and have doing short (weekend) trips to places around us. Although these days reservations are sometimes challenging, a little effort planning usually pays off. Curious...how do you transport your kayaks? We're headed to the Rincon for this month's outing

We love Rincon and have reservations in Feb. We have an inflatable kayak, which works well for us. It fields nicely in the back of our Honda. It’s not cheap, but is stable and paddles well. It’s a sea eagle fastrak 385.
