Monument Lake Campground Florida
Hello. Has anyone stayed at Monument Lake Campground in Ochoppe FL?
May want to camp there, but we can not find a map that shows the site numbers. Reservations are through recreation.gov, but they do not have a site map. We tried searching the internet but no luck.
Any ideas?

Drove past it yesterday. We often check out Federal sites but not this time.
You can use Google Maps and zoom in for a good view of the sites. Pick an area and call them.

We've stayed there a couple times. Last year we got a walk-in site, can't remember the number. Then walked around, got the numbers, then went on line a reserved one of the other sites for a few days.

We would like to camp on the East side of the Lake where you can park right next to and parallel to the lake. If you know those site numbers, please let me know. Thank you.

Just stayed 3 nights there. We were in site 5 which was on the east side. You can park sideways to the lake there. The sites on the north are back in and face the lake and on the south there was plenty of room to park however you want. The camp hosts and tents were on the west side.
There is a cell tower right next to the CG on the east side. Bathrooms are on the southwest side if that matters to you.
Great access to Shark Valley, Loop Road, Big Cypress gallery, etc.

Thank you!! Very helpful. Do you recall the range of site numbers for those East side sites? About to book and dont want to grab the wrong site.

I looked on my Recreation.gov account. I was in spot 23 last year. Its about in the middle all the way in the back. (I think this would be the northern end)

When we were there a couple of weeks ago, there was always at least one space open on the east side and plenty of other sites available.
Have fun!
