Thank you all very much for the suggestions. We were lucky enough to get a week at the Rapid City campground in Rapid City it used to be the TP campground so again thank you very much it’s the first time I’ve used the website and I love it.

While there go to downtown and look around. On the street corners are statues of Presidents. It is called the "City of Presidents".
We also found an Irish type pub, Paddy's O'Neills on 6th Street. The waitress was super nice and talked to us for some time and gave us good ideals about places to go. There is an Italian restaurant Sabatinos Italian Restaurant on Main St., right around the corner from Paddy's. I thought it was really expensive and was taken back when the Caesar salad with your meal was $8.00!!! but it was also extremely a small salad. The price of a draft beer was about what you would pay in a baseball park, $7.50.
We also visited Deadwood, Sturgis, Spearfish, Badlands and Wall Drug.

Hmmm... that’s where we’re staying... what did you do about the cell service issue? I do need to get some work done. How do you access internet?

We weren't there very long and, since it was a vacation, we just did without. We have Verizon, so YMMV. I don't recall if they had wifi.

Edit - Just looked at the KOA web page and they say they have WiFi.
