WillowTree RV Resort

Go to WillowTree in Longs, SC. It is about 15-20 min north of the beach area and one of the nicest CGs I have ever stayed in. Super quiet.

A new place called Carolina Pines just opened. We stay at Ocean Lakes here and there over the winter as we move around. We are there now until the weather in CT is good enough. The place is great in December, January and February otherwise its a **** show.

Over the summer I have heard horror stories.

Carolina Pines is near International drive which is 10 minutes from the ocean.

I have never heard that about the area off Hwy 90 between Conway and Little River. There are many nice new neighborhoods under construction and a number of established communities. There are some parts of Conway with problems, but don't know of any city or town that doesn't.

I would not choose Carolina Pines simply because when I go to the beach, which we rarely do these days because we live in Garden City (south of Myrtle beach) so we go elsewhere for our wanderlust needs, we want to be closer to the water. South of Myrtle Beach is Ocean Lakes, Lakeside, Pirateland, Myrtle Beach State Park, and down in Georgetown County is Huntington Beach State park.

Another new entry in the area is North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and Dry Dock. It is located on the west side of the Intracoastal waterway. It has a very nice amenity center right on the waterway.
