From Nashville to Dallas and back--Is anyone familiar with a good campground on or near Rte 30 near Benton, Arkansas or thereabouts which is open this time of year? I might be towing a 5th wheel back with me...

Depending how far you want to travel, I've stayed at two along there I would recommend. Sunrise RV Park just east of Texarkana is a good stopover. Delta Ridge is a small park just off I30 in the town of Forrest City, which is between Memphis and Little Rock. It's nothing special but a decent stopover. There is a good restaurant within walking distance of the park in Forrest City and a Denny's very close to the Sunrise RV Park.

Delta Ridge sounded familiar -- looked back at our travel "diary". Was at Delta Ridge in 2017, my notes say "very nice man at check in; level pull through sites, good utilities, clean park, walking distance to Sawmill Cave (good supper buffet) and had good breakfast buffet the next morning".
