Need a campground

We will be traveling from Tulsa on 64 to Raton and would like to find a camp ground about. 2 hours east of Raton to spend the night. Suggestions?

Guymon,ok has a couple of campgrounds. Never stayed there so I can't say if they're ok or not. It's 160 miles from Raton.

There's a great little campground right at the top of Raton Pass immediately on the East side of the highway. Can't recall the name but was such a neat little spot we spent two nights in our 45' MH.

Have traveled that route to Co. Many times. We like to Telfairstay at Corral RV in Dalhart. Clean, level, inexpensive, easy in and out. Lots and lots of folks use it as a one night stop on this long desolate route to the mountains
