Need a place to park north of Atlanta - Roswell/Marietta/Alpharetta/East Cobb area
We’re house hunting north of ATL. There are very few parks to stay at while we house hunting. Does anyone have or know of someone who has a spot we could park our 43’ class A Newmar for a week or so while we house hunt?!?

Not sure exactly how far it will be from your “hunting area,” but Allatoona Landing on Lake Allatoona is pretty nice (aside from the neighboring RR track.). We’ve stayed there before for a few days and would recommend it.
Happy house hunting!

In the same general area is Red Mountain State Park, and numerous COE campgrounds.

Thanks. Allatoona is about 45 minutes to an hour from where we are looking but certainly an option. I’m hoping for something closer.

Yes it is and I think you’re going to find just about anything in Atlanta is 45 minutes from wherever you are, whether you are camping or living there! I often stay at Red Mountain State Park and drive to near the airport on the south side to work on my daughters’ houses. I doubt you will find anything much closer.

https://www.stonemountainpark.com/Campground may be a little closer to your house hunting area.

There is one in Marietta. I forget the name but it's probably listed on the campgroundreivews.com website. We've stayed at it. It isn't pretty, it doesn't get great reviews, but it is convenient to Marietta (it's near the "Big Chicken").
You might find others if you look at the website.
Although, we are partial to Stone Mtn Park or Red Top Mountain. If you're going to live in that area you may as well get use to that traffic now and stay at one of those places.
Now if you just want a place to "...park you RV..." you may look into Three Way Campers in Kennesaw (or maybe it's Marietta) on Hwy 41 above Barrett Parkway. We kept out rig there a few times many years ago while building a pad on our property.

My point but expressed more eloquently. Just about anything in Atlanta, unless you miraculously manage to have everything you want in your immediate vicinity, is going to require a lot of driving and coping with traffic.
