I'm looking for a recommendation for a nice, clean campground in the Maysville Ga. area for 4-5 days in mid Oct. 2007. We will be traveling in a 35' motorhome

Boy, this one was tough. Maysville has no lakes, state parks, or federal parks nearby. However, I did find one interesting campground in Maysville proper. Here is an excerpt from their website: (Don't miss the second sentence of the second paragraph).

Highlights:
10 RV sites, can accommodate RVs up to 40 ft. Swimming pool, hot tub, horseshoes, volleyball court, hiking trail, workout room, and big screen TV in clubhouse. Located 60 miles from Atlanta and 25 miles from Athens.
Notes:
P.A. discount is valid Monday through Thursdays only, from April through August. Must be nude to enter swimming pool, hot tub, or showers. Must be 18 years old unless accompanied by parent.

Unless you need to stay directly in Maysville, there are some nice COE campgrounds on Lake Lanier (Old Federal) or you can stay in Commerce at "The Pottery". They have a compground in back of the Mall.
