New Campground near I 475 Macon Ga
New to us anyway
Was looking for one last overnight stop before making it home to Tampa and the wife found this campground.
Camping At Lake Tobesofkee
Beautiful area, close to intestate, and very reasonable. $22.00 a night includes everything.
Ron

Sure looks nice. Will keep that in mind the next time we head down to WDW since we usually head down thru GA to avoid I-95.

Not new but recently rebuilt as a tornado took it apart a few years ago.
Nice little CG though. Another one just back up the road is High Falls

Yes, High Falls is nice, haven't stayed there in quite awhile and was contemplating staying there this time but thought we would try something different. Glad we did.
Most of GA's state parks are very nice, at least the ones we have stayed at are. We usually try to make it to Veterans http://www.fototime.com/inv/F4ADCFFC23328DA but it was too far away.

We camped there back in the late 70's, my kids would ride their bikes up and down the small hills around the CG.
