New England Trip in September

We have a two week trip planned through New England in late September. We are in western PA so headed through New York, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. The wife wants to start canceling now but I am holding out for a little while longer. We've emailed the campgrounds that we made reservations at about cancellations because of Covid. It looks like we will loose some money. Anybody have any advice?

We have a reservation for a rental in Maine in Sept and owner has been providing updates. Latest word is to enter Me from out of state you need to quarantine for 14 days or provide a negative test result w/in 72 hrs of entering. The 72 hr timing will likely be impossible for us. Others have indicated 5-7 days to get results and we usually take 2 days to get there.
I think Me has agreed to do the testing but likely have to quarantine until results available? Again a timing problem.

Depends on what you like to do. We like museums and historical places and those are closed. Generally, most places outdoors are open like hiking, golf and waterways. We eat in the Motorcoach more often than going out to bars and restaurants like we would normally do. So we are managing to travel safely in our self contained Motorcoach. It’s not as much fun, but it’s possible.

We just did 10 days in Twin Mountain, NH
No COVID problems there.
North Conway had many restaurants open.
We did do any tourist stuff, we hiked the White Mountains and cooked 9 of the 10 days.
Had dinner in North Conway one day.
All the groceries and stores are open. The only thing closed was the State Liquor store in Whitefield, so we had to drive to Lancaster to get some wine.
Here is my video of the Twin Mountain KOA

We entered Maine July 1 and left Aug 15. Tested before entry. We hike and bike a lot so we were OK with many of the closures, but missed some of the interactions we would normally have with other people. What was nice was the reduced number of people in Acadia.
