We are trying to find a nice place to stay near AC for 4th of July weekend (5 nites).
Tried to book a site at one place Ocean View Resort but they required a 7 day stay (not listed on their website.. and then told us that we couldn't have our motorcycles after the 2nd email! Wasted my time and theirs ) Has any stayed at Timberland? If so.. how did you like it?
Our likes, so you know, clean and friendly and close to the beaches! . No children so we don't need activities. (But kids are OK!!) Any info greatly appreciated.
TIA

Tessa, we have stayed at Timberlane more times than I can count. When we first started RVing we lived in MA and with family in DE Timberlane was a good basing point. We now live in TN and still have family in DE and MA and Timberlane still serves the same purpose. It is EZ on/off of Exit 17 on I-295, there is a Camping World at Exit 10 on 295, there is a Flying J at exit 2 and the Jersey shore including Atlantic City is probably less than 1 and 1/2 hours.

It does not appear as though you need it but they are open year round which we find useful. Most sites are FHU and most have cable TV.

If you call them ask for Stacey who works the office along with her mom. Her mom and dad own the CG and live next door. Incidentally, security is never an issue as her dad is a NJ Stae Trooper. Good luck and enjoy A.C., Ken Roberts...

Thank you very much! I had sent an email and they called me back the next morning. We made our reservations for July 4th weekend. And I've got to say (don't know who I spoke with)--talk about a friendly, helpful person!

Nice to know about the camping world.. will have to keep my DH on a leash..
