Check the name, it is probably French Quarter RV Park. It is very popular and has good reviews. We stay over near Lake Pontchartrain.

We stayed ay Ponchartrain Landing a few years ago and they had a shuttle that went downtown but I think the name has changed.

It was bought out and the new name is New Orleans RV Resort and Marina. We haven't visited since the name change.

don’t mean to burst your bubble but given the rampant crime in virtually every major city I wouldn’t be staying or visiting in any of them. NOLA has been on our “go to” list for a while now but not until sanity is restored.

I stayed at a campground just west of Burbon St, cant remeber the name, anyway, it was fenced and very safe. A short cab ride to the markets and entertainment. I would absolutely recommend...

This is where we liked to stay to tour the city. State parks are safe.

I cannot find a Bourbon St. Rv park on any website. I too suspect they mean French Quarter RV resort, which is perhaps the nicest RV park in/near NOLA.
Their stone wall security fence is impressive and nice looking. It is a 1/2 mile walk to Bourbon St. in the French Quarter. We made the walk several times, always returning after dark and never felt uneasy. There is a large police presence. IMO NOLA cannot afford to lose their visitors.

We've stayed there also and always walked to the quarter and never felt unsafe regardless of time of day/night.

We stayed at New Orleans RV Resort and Marina earlier this year. It’s reasonably priced, has gated security, and is well lit. Easy drive into FQ. Trash collection kind of a mystery. You have to have your bag out wishing your specified half hour period in the morning. But that doesn’t always happen, so trash can pile up.
