Newport Dunes RV Park
A quick get away with 4 other families for Fathers Day weekend. Weather was very nice and the kids had a great time.

Glad to hear you had a nice Father's Day, Mike.
Where is Newport Dunes? CA? RI? We may be looking for a place to stay a few days in the Newport Beach, CA area next year.

Yes it is in Newport Beach, CA. Make sure you make reservations in advance because it tends to fill up fast. It is not the cheapest park around but it is all about location. We only live about 30 minutes away but like to go here for quick getaways with friends.

It is a beautiful resort park, but it is indeed very pricey. But, there are few alternatives, and it is well kept. They take reservations two years in advance, so getting a prime spot during the summer season is iffy. Also, during the summer season it would be nice if they enforced their parking limitations just a bit more. Often, incorrectly parked vehicles make maneuvering a real chore.

Great family park, and a fun place to take a scouting troop.Lots of fond memories.

We also love this park. We stayed there a couple of weeks ago and have two more weekends planned there this summer. It is pricey but compared to the Hyatt next door it is cheap.

Thanks Mike.
This must be the facility near the portion of the harbor west of the highway. Great to hear it gets a good review and now we know the name. We have friends that live nearby and owe them a stop the next time we get out west.

It's in California, and our daughter just this morning recommended it to us, as it's just a mile from their summer home. At those prices it should be nice, but I notice their website doesn't show photos of the actual sites, at least so far as I've searched it.

We really liked the location and facilities but no doubt about it... it's pricey. The premium pull in sites were really nice but the back ins we found to be pretty tight for a big rig.
