Sure - the main power sources when I had only 30 amp was the A/C, convection microwave and dryer. The water heater could be put on propane.

You should not need 50 Amp service. Access to the Falls is very easy from Branches. If you get an opportunity after the Falls visit, go to Letchworth State Park.

Last summer we visited both sides of the falls. On the Canadian side, the KOA is on the bus route and daily passes are cheap and convenient. You can get to the falls and to the botanical gardens by bus and don't need to worry about finding parking.
On the US side, we stayed at 4-mile creek state park. Your camping pass gets you into any other state park free. Take the RV to Niagara Falls State Park and park in lot 3. Take bycycles to see the falls and other exhibits. You can day trip to Ft. Niagara and Lockport, both of which are interesting. We were somewhat dissapointed with winery tours. All we really saw were small stores where for $10 you could sample very small amounts of wine. In Florida, the wine tours take you through the production areas and tell you more about how their wine is made.
