Niagara Falls!!!!!!!!
A few weeks back I posted about going to Niagara Falls and got a lot of good info. I thought I would give some feedback.
No-one explained how beautiful it is up here. The weather is so pleasent, around 70 for the high, I'm used to the mid 90's. We're staying at 4MileCreek stste campground, and it is an extremely nice place. The grass is so green you want to take off your shoes and just rub your feet in it. The staff in the office was recruited from the miss teen America pagent, all very helpful. It,s only a 15 minute drive with one turn to the Falls and the campground tag on the mirrow gives you free parking at the falls. That's 10 bucks off right there. The Discoverey Pass available at the campground is only 33.00 and gives you access to the Maid of the Mist,Cave of the Winds, Diccovery Center, Legends of Niagara theater, the Aquarium, and the senic trolley.
Take a lunch and leave it in the truck cause the food at the 'Top of the Falls" resturant is the typical 12.00 dry tastless burger, so a nice picnic lunch is worth a lot.
It will take all day to see the sights, but the tickets are for as long as it takes, not just one day.
There are a lot of CG's around, but for the 22 bucks per nite this place is really hard to beat, nice and quiet, and right on the shore of Lake Ontario.
I hope this entices someone else to come see Niagara Falls, cause Vickie and I have certainly loved it. Later, Bat
PS do the cave of the winds last.
