Northern California RV Parks

Cal Expo has an RV park and good access to freeway. Close to a lot of restaurants and stores and reverse commute. Usually no rain till mid late November. Probably less than 10 freezing nights in winter at most, not unusual for none

My wife and I have driven on 65 from yuba city to roseville. It is a nice, wide open area.

Yuba city is quite nice and at Roseville I think there is a pretty large shopping mall where it intersects I80. We have family in the general area so we go there periodically.

I would think that there are a number of long term locations with Beale AFB so nearby. A lot of AFB people seem to live in 5ths and As.

That area in general tends to be on the warm side in summer (can hit 110 F routinely) and foggy / cooler in the winter. It can be windy year round. I don't think that you will get snow there, but certainly 1 hr east in the foot hills you will.

The rivers in that area can and have flooded, so don't be too complacent. Those rivers are the result of snow melt that feeds a substantial portion of CA's water supply if that tells you anything.

Even if you can only find 30 amp service, there are ways to enhance your electrical system so that you can make it if needed.

No long term solutions near BAFB. Yes you can stay at Collins Lake which is expensive and few full hook ups. It is a 25-30 minute drive into Marysville and then on to Roseville if needed.

It can be miserably hot in the Summer. We are natives from Yuba City. Just spent three months visiting there this Summer.
