Wow, you guys sure do get around. Please post a report on how the camp site was. I'd like to try dry camping and have always heard that Ocala National Forest was the place to go.

This was our 2nd time dry camping at Juniper Springs. It was great. We also go to Salt Springs rec area which has full hook ups. Alexander Springs is dry camping also but sites are real small. We road around the forest roads and there are LOTS of places to dry camp - just pay a small fee and go in! You can get a map from the forest division/Ocala Natl office - on I-40, north side of road, just East of the Silver Springs attraction.

We stayed at Salt Springs this winter for a few days. Really nice campground. It is out in the boonies though.
