It was also the site for the 2019 iRV2 rally. It was a perfect choice for us.

Was there in July a couple of years ago and while the venue is nice and close to the beach it was bananas after dark.
Fireworks and bumper to bumper golf carts with loud music and more fireworks.
I would go again Spring or Fall but never again during the Summer.

This was April, so it was pretty quiet. PeteWolf I see you are from Mebane… my Dad was born there. Off season at Ocean Lakes is much different than the summer

Yes I have heard that things quiet down off season . It is a very nice place and right on the beach .
Migrated to Mebane from Connecticut , it is a wonderful little community.
Reminds me of Connecticut when I was a kid in the 60’s .

First CG we ever went to with a RV back in the 90s. Boy has it changed, but still a great place.
