Old Greenville Recreation Area, MO

Any one have any experience with Old Greenville Recreation Area? It is a bit confusing as it is sometimes referred to as Greenville Recreation Area (dropping the Old). Google maps show Greenville Recreation Area inside of Old Greenville Recreation Area. I noticed on google maps, street view that there is no check in station. At Least that I could see. Do you have to make reservations or are walk ins welcome? Campground Reviews give it a good review, but any other insights?

I have not been down there in years. if you would let me know what you find. I did stay at Holiday landing for a week once very nice

From St. Louis, google maps has you turning off Hwy 67 where there is no exit. With google earth and a little investigating I found the way in. Looks to be a real nice park. Anxious to find out.

yes as I recall it was a gravel road off 67
