We stay at Millersylvania State Park when we're in that area (when not a daughter's house). Haven't tried any of the commercial CG's.

We have stayed at Olympia Campground. It is an old KOA that is now independent. It is not fancy but it is comfortable and convenient. It is clsoe to the airport but that was not a bigvdeal. We would stay there again.

I believe the same folks own Americam Heritage a mile or so furtber south. The last I checked, American Heritage was primarily long term.

sorry, but there are not a lot of choices in places to stay. which is too bad. Olympia is a great place to visit.
of the options, we have found Millersylvania state park the best. WA state park reservation system is very good (even have pictures of the sites). Olympia Campground and American Heritage are both very run down and not big rig friendly.
Last time we stayed in the area, we tried Little Creek Casino & Resort. rather plain, but it is new and more than just a gravel parking lot. plus they had full hook ups.
enjoy your visit tot he area.
