My wife and I are both sick and we can’t use our reservation at Blue Springs St Park. Reservation was for site 002 for 3 nights starting tomorrow, Thursday April 28. I just called and cancelled it so if you’re nearby here’s a chance for a last minute site. Hate to see it go unused.

If you are a Facebook user, there is a group that deals with notifications of cancelled sites in Florida.... it's called Florida Campsite Catch & Release It is a very active group.

Thanks for that info. I don't Facebook, but my wife does and I'll check it out. The Florida reservation system is very strange. It forces you to make reservations 11 months out, but won't let you cancel after 300 days? It's not the money so much that bugs me (with my senior discount it's dirt cheap) but I hate to see empty spots go unused. The ranger at the park was very appreciative I called. I may or may not get a few bucks back. Hope someone else gets to enjoy this nice park.
