OR Hy 58/Willamette Pass Overnight

I need a overnight stop around Oakridge or the Willamette Pass.

I was thinking at the ski area but I seem to recall it being gated during the off season. Any of the Sno-Parks available? Google Earth doesn't show any gates that I can see but I don't know if they just post them as closed. And I guess that with the heat wave coming in in the next few days that could be a good possablity.

Guess I could pull off at the trestle but when the trains come through on the up hill pull they certainly interupt the beauty rest.

Suggestions welcome.
