Good guess, AL!
We are sitting in Indio, Ca...just outside Palm Springs. Temps have been running in the low to mid 80's with a breeze. Actually it has been a little more than a breeze the past 2 days.
We are sitting in the new section of Motorcoach Country Club
Ruffinit is here also. We will meet up with him in a day or 2.
Here is a picture from the other morning...

Hey Frankie , just last week you were removing snow from your 2006 Hurricane roof . And now you are being slam by major rains up the north east coast. . Drop everything and get on a plane to Atlanta, GA and go down with me and DW leaving this tuesday 4-17 to Tampa, GA will be staying 3 to 5 days at Lazy Days ((Rally Park)) . Drueling over them $900,000 44 footer Motorcoaches parked all around us.. And taking both Sports bikes Suzuki GSXR to the nearest beach Clearwater just about 13 minutes away on bikes. Can you say PINA COLLADA .No Helmet law in FL
Then spent 2 days time at Busch Gardens about 15 minutes away , then on the way back up to Orlando, Fl to visit MICKEY MOUSE for about a week .

That is also one of our favorite places, along with the Outdoor Resort Palm Springs. We will be stopping there in a few weeks on our way to our summer spot. I can hardly wait.

MonacoMama,
hope you guys got out of there before the big winds hit. I was out there at the beginning of last week and could barely see 100 yds due to the blowing sand. that is a great resort, just too close for me to really enjoy.

That place does look amazing!!! I don't think the DW and I could afford to drive through the gates of a place like that. It almost (not quite) makes me want to take a trip to California.

HRHug ..
It was one of the windiest days we have been trhough on the day we left... but we wook our time and made it home ok.
Carnles..
We are like you and DW- we were there because we had 6 days free. If I ever win a "mega-million" lotto - then we would buy there ... but it would be because we had a huge disposable income.
ALL but one person there was very friendly - so that is not a problem. It would be a GREAT place to be in the winter time..but we will have to win a MAJOR lotto to do it..
...BUT I DO LOVE DREAMING!!

MonacoMama,
we have several friends that stay there each winter, it is a wonderful place. Even if it is a short drive for us, maybe we will stay there this winter, some great casino's close by.
