Looking for RV parks and sights to see for an upcoming trip to this area on the way to upstate NY and New England.
Thanks

There are more RV parks in Lancaster County/Amish country than you can shake a stick at, and from what I can see they're mostly pretty good. We've visited with friends at Spring Gulch, we've stayed at Red Run, Circle M and Thousand Trails Hershey - all pretty good. Sights to see? Depends on what kind of sights you want.

Amish farmers, flea markets, PA Dutch foods, Christian theater, amusement parks, excursion railroads? We've got a lot. IIRC, Lancaster County is the #1 tourist destination on the east coast, but what kind of activities do you like?

Lancaster Central Market is a good stop. Get there early for all the fresh produce, meat, flowers, and food.

We stayed at Country Acres CG in the Fall of '14. Quite nice - several different sections - can accommodate all sizes. Had an Amish gal wander thru with a wagon of baked goods for sale - kinda fun! ST

We always stay at Beacon Hill Camping in Intercourse. Walking distance to town and great owners.

We did Pequea Creek last year. Quite the challenge with a big rig to get down there but a pretty CG. Nicer than expected.

Yeah, you gotta love that hard right turn immediately after the covered bridge.

A little to the east of Lancaster is Strasburg, which is home to all things railroad. The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania is very worthwhile. Also nearby is the Sight & Sound Theater, which is impressive for the huge and detailed stage sets used in their shows.

We like Country Acres. Nice pull thru sites and beautifully maintained bathrooms. Nice farm scenery and easy access to all the attractions.
