The weather looks great.

I can only guess, the Pickle Fork lost control. We left before this accident. Could have been alcohol, drugs or covid head. My friends sent me the pic. They had just pulled theirs out. They said there was another bad one, both yesterday. I’m sure it was close to LaPaz or Sundance

Nothing unusual for the Parker Strip , 14 miles of the Colorado River, averaging 70 yards wide, between two dams , and WAY too many people figure they need a boat that does 80 MPH to play on it.

I could not think of where Parker, Colorado had a section of River big enough for a marina. Thanks for the links to the other pics.

Great place along the river spent some time there this winter Jeeped all over the hills and canyons. Would love to take the boat there. Going back this winter.
Since we are SPECULATING what happened, maybe the steering just had a malfunction! By the way many of the boats there will do 100+ MPH.

Another picture of the accident in one of the links gives , access to police reports , the accident with the boat parked on the party boat was one of three , in a day at the same dock , the other two involved alcohol and injuries , including an air lift to Phoenix.
Just what you need to do ; get air lifted into an ICU full of COVID-19 patients; fun way to end your weekend . JMHO , of course.

Not the place to be in the summer.... 120 degrees. Don't know how people live there. We were late getting out of Arizona and stopped at Havasu mid-May.... could not take the heat... left the next morning. Spring break is a wild time there with the crazies.
